CONSTRUCTION :
Hull : Hand made solid laminate GRP mat and rowing .
Deck : Deck is moulded GRP, stress
areas where winches, sheet tracks, etc, are reinforced by
using backing chrome plates.
Ballast : 1150 kg. Steel, torpedo shaped lead bottom,
end keel bolts are of stainless steel.
Rudder : Glass fibre rudder on solid stainless steel stock
(diam 40 mm.)
Rudder trunk stock is screwed to the skeg on the hull with
delrin housings.
Motor bed (optional): Glass fibre bed moulded to the hull.
Chain plates : Stainless steel fixed on the hull.
Interior joinery : Marine grade water proof plywood faced
with selected mahogany or american cherry is used in all
bulkheads and major joinery. Specially selected solid
mahogany or beech in frames and doors. Marine plywood in
bottoms, shelves, etc. where not visible. All main bulkheads
bonded to hull and deck using glass mat and polyester.
Ceiling, top sides and visible hull sides padded with foam
backed vinyl. Hullsides, bottom, bilge, etc, topcoated
throughout the interior. Varnished cabin sole, mahogany with
ashtree inlaid wood stripes.
ACCOMODATION :
Forward: Double berth , stowage under the berth
Toilet compartment : GRP wash unit.
Galley : Galley on SB side
Aft : Separated two berths and wardrobe. Stowage under the
berth .
DECK EQUIPMENT :
-1 hatches , size 50
-2 aluminium framed windows.
-1 x 32 STA Harken winch , 2 x 32 STA Harken winches
- One organiser with 3 sheaves and triple rope clutch
-4 mooring bollards,
-1 main sheet track with slider and tag lines.
-Navigation lights.
-25 mm. dia. Stainless steel pullpit, pushpit and ladder.
General; Bolts, nuts, washers and screws used for fastening
deck equipment are of stainless steel. Sealing used between
deck and equipment is polyurethane, silicone or specially
developed material.
INTERIOR EQUIPMENT :
Fresh water system : 60 liters water capacity tank.
Pressurised water. Filler line from deck. Tanks are
ventilated. Sink
and wash basin drained either through hull
12 volt bilge-pump.
Toilet installation : Hand operated marine toilet with sea
water in take and outlet through ball valves. Waste holding
tank.
Cushions : Cushions in high quality foam with first class
upholstery in choice of colours.
Electrical installation : Switchboard and control panel in
navigators area. 1 spotlight in toilet, 1 spotlight in
main cabin, 1 x 60 amp.hrs marine batteries.
General Hardware : Doors have marine locks. Locker doors
have brass push locks and are hinged
with chromium plated brass hinges.
General : Bolts, nuts, washers and screws are generally
stainless steel. Hose clamps are all stainless steel.
Through bottom fittings and other piping fittings are brass.
Hoses are reinforced flexible pvc polyethylene.
OUTBOARD ENGINE INSTALLATION (optional):
Engine : 9,9 Hp. Outboard
INBOARD ENGINE INSTALLATION (optional):
Engine : 9 Hp. Yanmar Sail Drive diesel motor .
Controls : Lever controller and instrument panel in cockpit.
Fuel : 60 litres diesel tank in stainless steel with level
meter. Filling from deck.
Engine housing : Easily removed engine room cover with
interior joinery finish, well insulated
with foam.
MAST AND RIGGING :
Main mast : Selden brand 12,5 m. long. Mast with two
levels of spreaders, boom and
boomvang. Cenoa furler.
Standing rigging : All stays and shrouds in stainles steel
wire.
Running rigging : 1 main halyard, 1 cenoa halyard, 1 main
sheet, 2 jib sheets.
Sails : 1 main sail, 1 furling genoa , sail bags.
